Pianoconnect
What is Pianoconnect?
Pianoconnect is a word Barbara created to symbolize what she likes to do with her music. She likes to connect to people through her playing of the piano. We then decided that it also was a good name to express a connection between Barbara and those who are interested in her personally through this website or professionally to set up an event.
We have been working together for ten years now. I work
with her in a number of ways, but in this capacity, I assist
her with personal management services. No artist should
be placed in a position of having to negotiate his or her own
contracts. They should not be expected to handle all the
details of their careers. They should not be expected to
deal with all the correspondences. I do my best to assist
her in these and a number of other areas. If I can allow her
to focus on her music, rather than the business aspects of
a career, then the music can be even more profound.
Barbara and I have become close friends over the years.
What I am doing here is an extension of that friendship and
my deep belief in her and her music.
It is a real pleasure and joy to serve in this capacity.
